We are excited to welcome Doug Ward to Cilantro on Wednesday, November 9th for a scotch dinner. Doug Ward is the Vice President of Charton Hobbs and well-versed on Glenmorangie Scotch with more than 20 years working closely with this prestigious brand. We will start the evening with a Glenmorangie based cocktail crafted by CRMR’s Wine Director Brad Royale followed by a four course dinner prepared by the culinary team at Cilantro. Each of the courses will be paired with a Glenmorangie Single Malt.
We look forward to having Doug impart his extensive knowledge of Glenmorangie’s different Single Malts with you on this evening. There are only 28 tickets available to this engaging evening of food and libations. Tickets can be purchased online.

About Doug Ward:
Scotch and Scotland have been a lifelong passion. Having grown up just outside of Aberdeen in Scotland it was probably destiny to end up working for Charton-Hobbs who represent some of the most prestigious Scotch whisky brands in the World. A 20+ year career in the alcohol beverage industry has taken me from Calgary to Edmonton, on to Winnipeg, then Toronto, Halifax, and six years ago back to Calgary. Throughout my 20+ years I have always sold Glenmorangie and Glenrothes as part of our portfolio. When Ardbeg was purchased by Glenmorangie in the late 1990’s I was introduced to the peatiest whisky in the World and life as I know it was changed forever! In 2011 I was honoured to be given lifelong membership to the Keepers of the Quaich with an unforgettable ceremony at Blair Castle in Perthshire, Scotland. I am sure that many more wee drams await me on this incredible journey to promote Scotch whisky to the masses.
