We are very excited to be one of the thousands of venues around the world participating in Negroni Week 2017, taking place from June 5-11! Presented by Imbibe Magazine and Campari, Negroni Week utilizes one of the world’s favourite cocktails to raise money for charities around the globe, collectively raising around $900,000.00 to date with the participating venues.
This year, Cilantro will be donating $2 from every Negroni to WE, an organization that aims to bring people together and give them the tools to change the world. The charity empowers change with resources that create a sustainable impact, and by setting up domestic programs in communities that need help, WE is able to send 90% of its donations directly to youth-serving programs!
Last year, Negroni Week had over 6000 participating venues and managed to raise nearly $400,000.00 for charities around the world. “We are proud to be one the venues partaking in this amazing initiative alongside over 30 other Calgary bars and restaurants,” says Cilantro’s General Manager, Ryan McLeish. “We are really looking forward to seeing the positive impact Negroni Week 2017 will have.”

.5oz Luxardo Blanco Bitter
.5oz Cinzano Rossi
.5oz Cinzano Orancio
The ingredients are combined and then stirred over ice, strained, and poured into a glass with a large ice cube. The Negroni is then garnished with a dehydrated orange wheel for a citrusy finish.
