We are excited to welcome Jamie Delia, Marketing Manager, Southern Glazers on June 24, 2019 for a Botanist Gin pairing dinner on our award-winning 17th Avenue patio! Join us as we kick off the summer celebrations with The Botanist Gin.

The night will feature a special gin infusion tower that will showcase a number of unique flavours, perfectly paired with four courses from the talented Culinary team at Cilantro Restaurant.

For the first time ever, this dinner will take place on Cilantro’s award-winning outdoor patio, located in the heart of 17th Avenue. There are only 38 tickets available for the engaging evening of food and libations.

Chef Lancelot Monteiro along with CRMR’s Wine Director, Brad Royale will be teaming up again for these intimate and engaging evenings of food and libations. There are only 22 tickets available for each of these dinners which will take place in Cilantro’s upstairs lounge.The evenings will be hosted by Brad Royale who will walk you through hand-picked wines that have been carefully paired with 3 courses and 1 amuse-bouche prepared by Cilantro’s culinary team.

The evening will start with a custom Cilantro brew, created by talented brewmasters at Village, followed by a four course dinner prepared by Chef Lance Monteiro and his culinary team at Cilantro. Each of the courses will be paired with one of Village’s outstanding craft beers.

To complement the evening, guests will be able to enjoy the newly updated floor space, décor and atmosphere from Cilantro’s recent renovations in January 2018.

Cilantro’s 30th Birthday Dinner

We are celebrating our 30th birthday on Tuesday, October 23 – and you’re invited! Join us as we walk through the last 30 years of delicious eats while sharing battle stories and favourite memories from past as well as current staff who have all contributed to Cilantro’s longevity and overall welcoming atmosphere.

The evening will start with an opening cocktail crafted by Tony Migliarese of Tavernetta and Cilantro Bar Manager Mike Squirefollowed by a four course dinner prepared by Chef Lance Monteiro and his culinary team at Cilantro. Inspired by past and longtime employees, including Michael Miller from Añejo, Ken Canavan from CRMR Kitchen, Justine Cockx from CRMR and Rob Whitfield from Cilantro, each of the courses will be paired with wines choosen by Brad Royale, CRMR Wine Director.

There are only 36 tickets available for the engaging evening of food and libations.

YYC Pizza Week

We’re Going Wild for this Year’s YYC Pizza Week!

This year we’ve gone a little wild for 2018 YYC Pizza Week! From September 21-29, we will be among great company showcasing a wide selection of delicious pies that raise money for Calgary Meals on Wheels.

Going back to our Canadiana roots, Chef Lance has crafted a seriously mouthwatering creation we’ve dubbed “The Wild Canadian”. This za’ features Pulled Bison Short Rib (sourced from CRMR’s very own Game Ranch just Southwest of Calgary), Buffalo Trace Bourbon BBQ Glaze, Lime Cured Red Onion, Chèvre, Wilted Kale, Soft Mozzarella and Local Red Chilies.
