If you’ve ever worked in the food and beverage industry, you’ll know it takes someone special to withstand the kitchen. Michelle is the Sous Chef at Cilantro and is one tough cookie that’s worked hard to prove her place on the line. She’s Chef Lance’s right-hand and brings determination and passion for food and flavour to the table. We spoke with Michelle to find out a little bit more about her time at Cilantro and career journey with CRMR.

The evening will start with a Rémy Martin Cognac based opening cocktail crafted by Cilantro Bar Manager, Mike Squire, followed by a four course dinner prepared by Chef Lance Monteiro and his culinary team at Cilantro. Each of the courses will be paired with one of Rémy Martin’s award winning Cognacs – VSOP, 1738 Accord Royal and XO.
This dinner will take place in Cilantro’s cozy yet contemporary main floor that was renovated last year. There are only 38 tickets available for the engaging evening of food and libations.

Chef Lancelot Monteiro along with CRMR’s Wine Director, Brad Royale will be teaming up again for these intimate and engaging evenings of food and libations. There are only 22 tickets available for each of these dinners, which will take place in Cilantro’s upstairs lounge. The evenings will be hosted by Brad Royale who will walk you through hand-picked wines that have been carefully paired with 3 courses and 1 amuse-bouche prepared by Cilantro’s culinary team.

The evening will start with a Bruichladdich Whiskey based opening cocktail crafted by Cilantro Bar Manager, Mike Squire, followed by a four course dinner prepared by Chef Lance Monteiro and his culinary team at Cilantro. Each of the courses will be paired with one of Bruichladdich’s award winning, unique and often hard-to-find whiskeys: The Classic Laddie, The Organic 2009, Port Charlotte, Port Charlotte MRC01, Black Art and Octomore. To celebrate the occasion, Chef Lance and his culinary team at Cilantro have crafted a special set-choice, five-course Valentine’s Day menu.
Complementing the menu, each person will receive a glass of sparkling wine included with dinner.
Tickets are broken into 30 minute increment options beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. for the flexibility to perfectly plan your evening with the one you love most.

For those with after-dinner or early-evening plans, our three-course dinner option beginning at 5 p.m. will to allow you to fuel up with a delicious dinner before heading off to celebrations further afield. For those looking for later plans to enjoy into the evening, we will also be running a five-course set choice menu starting at 7:30 p.m. until midnight.
