The celebration of Cilantro’s 30th birthday in 2018 brought a fresh face to our Calgary classic, and with it our new nightly feature menu was born. Beginning on Tuesday through to Friday, Cilantro will be offering our guests a range of delicious bites and sips – aimed at satisfying your craving for great food, drinks and an a truly friendly and vibrant atmosphere in the heart of Calgary.

We are excited to welcome Jordan Cameron, Representative and Regional Marketing Manager for Moët Hennessy-Glenmorangie to Cilantro on Thursday, February 22nd for a scotch pairing dinner.
The evening will start with a Glenmorangie based opening cocktail crafted by CRMR’s Wine Director Brad Royale, followed by a four course dinner prepared by Chef Lance Monteiro and his culinary team at Cilantro. Each of the courses will be paired with a Glenmorangie Single Malt – Original, Lasanta, Nectar D’Or and Quinta Ruban.

Freshening up for its 30th Birthday, Cilantro will be closed from January 1, 2018 until February 2018 due to renovations in the casual and cozy restaurant. The renovations will focus mainly on updating the main floor by including new seating, tables, light fixtures and updated color scheme.
A delicious five course dinner and carefully selected wine pairings – what better way to ring in 2018! Our Chef Lancelot Monteiro has created an indulgent five course menu featuring our signature Canadian Rocky Mountain cuisine. To pair with each course, Brad Royale, CRMR’s Wine Director, will be hand picking unique wines for each course.

We are very excited to be participating in YYC Pizza Week for the 3rd year in a row, taking place from September 22nd to October 1st! For ten days, 50 different local food vendors and restaurants will be offering a delicious pizza creation they dreamed up to raise money for charity – us included. Each participating vendor will be selling their pizza for $20, with $3 of each item going to the chosen charity. With a panel of pizza-loving judges to impress, pizza passports to be stamped, and a large variety of pies to try, we can barely wait for the event to begin!
